Our 5th Speaker announced for our Human Factors for Medical Devices Workshop next June!

December 20, 2017

The Human Factors Centre is proud to announce that Greg Thay from Thay Medical will be presenting at our workshop next year on Innovation within Human Factors Engineering.

Greg will talk about how practitioners can attempt to utilise (and not lose) insights gained from participants in studies that have the power to truly fuel innovation (however may be “out of scope” for the project being conducted due to its regulatory position).

Greg will be presenting a case study which showcases an approach he has taken to combat this issue to try and inspire others to think about how and if this can be done with their projects when executing Human Factors studies.

For more information on Greg's session, please see Greg's speaker bio below.

Who, Where and Why?

Our 2018 workshop event will be aimed at individuals working within medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare start-ups. Our goal is to host an interactive event where practitioners can meet, network and share experiences. The workshop will be held at the Museum of London on the 7th June 2018. The day will be made up of short presentations, discussions, and workshops aimed at providing experts with a number of opportunities and platforms to get their questions answered.
